The online version of my graduate thesis project, “Concealed 360” is up for the first time. Although the in-person setup is much more immersive, we tried to emulate the unique 360 capability as much as possible. Hope you enjoy!

Today is my last day living in the San Francisco Bay Area, kind of bitter sweet. I’m moving back to LA tomorrow, looking forward to what’s next. I did what I set out to do two years ago, by receiving my master’s degree in multimedia. I’ve met a lot of great people up here, and gotten the chance to work on an awesome thesis project. Big thanks to everyone, and though I’ll miss it here, I’m sure I’ll be back sooner rather than later.
Take a look behind the scenes from our booth at this year’s Bay Area Maker Faire. We showed an exclusive 360 degree video that was created specially for Maker Faire, “Dance 360”. Overall it was a really great weekend, we got the chance to meet a lot of awesome people interested in our film, and technology. It also didn’t hurt that we saw R2D2 and Adam Savage from Mythbusters.

Check out the official premiere of Concealed 360 at CSU Eastbay!

Starting May 19th, we will exhibiting portions of our thesis project, Concealed at the 2012 San Francisco Bay Area Maker Faire. We’ll also be showing off another really cool 360-degree demo video we recently shot. If you’re in the area, and have time, stop on by and check us out, it’s even a two day event. For more info, click here.
We’re in the final stretch of the making of our thesis project; a 360-degree short film titled, “Concealed”. Above is the character poster for our main character “Dillon Wagner” (played by Chris Morocco), who wakes up in the hospital suffering from memory loss at the beginning of the movie. Through flashbacks he has to put the pieces together of the events that led to his hospitalization. Check out more character posters here!

During the last few months, my thesis group’s project “Concealed 360” has been getting an increased amount of press. After our KRON interview, we sat down with CSU East Bay’s newspaper “The Pioneer” for an interview about our project. You can read the full article on our project’s web site here. We will be doing an additional follow up interview next month, so look out for that. Hope you enjoy!
Over winterbreak my thesis group was interviewed on San Francisco Bay Area’s KRON morning news about our 360 interactive movie. Although I was away in LA, the guys in my group did an awesome job discussing the project and why it’s so cool. Check out the video above to see the full interview, and click here if you’d like to see it recorded in 360 degrees!
This is a behind the scenes video I cut together for my thesis project’s end of quarter wrap-up. It hopefully provides a better look into the different aspects that have gone into making the project from pre-production to post-production. We still have a long ways to go until it’s all said and done, but we are definitely getting there. Enjoy!
